Finance Committee
- oversees Treasurer
- responsible for counting Sunday offering
- oversees audits
- moniters cash flow
- prepares annual budget
- liason with Church Administrator with regard to envelope distribution
- liason with Envelope Secretary
Mission & Service / Social Concerns Committee
- promotes M&S throughout congregation
- promotes other appeals where appropriate (eg. "Extra Measures Project" for The Congo)
- oversees local outreach (eg. Out of the Cold program)
Ministry & Personnel Committee
This committee is a confidential, consultative body that supports the pastoral charge.
- provides liaison between congregation and church staff.
- conducts annual reviews with staff members, discussing working conditions, remuneration, and responsibilities
- makes revisions to position descriptions when required
- makes recommendations to Executive Council as a result of staff reviews
Membership Committee
- liases with ministers to receive children of baptism and new members through confirmation and transfers
- promotes ongoing connections with church family (eg. social events, photo directory)
Property Committee
- maintains buildings, equipment, and land
- recommends and carries out church improvements
- contracts and supervises custodial work
- oversees rental rates and rental usage
- provides safe, comfortable accommodation
