UCW - Unit 4 meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 1:00 pm in the church parlour.
UCW - Unit 16 meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 12 noon at the James Street Retirement Residence.
About the United Church Women:
Our organization has changed over the years but we are still endeavouring to fulfill our mandate of helping where we can at home and abroad. We are still supporting several projects in Africa as well as several here in Bracebridge, namely, Manna Food Bank, Interval House, Habitat for Humanity and especially, the Out of the Cold program right in our own church.
We continue to provide receptions for families who have lost loved ones. We feel this is a very important service and is always much appreciated.
We also continue to host our Bridge Luncheon in March which is looked forward to and is well attended by the many bridge players of Bracebridge.
The Soup Kettle is still bringing in many people from our community for a delicious lunch the first Wednesday of each month from October to June.
