Rev. Nancy Knox
Nancy was raised on a dairy farm just north of Bowmanville.  Her family attended the small, rural church of Eldad in the village of Solina.  Nancy attended Courtice Secondary School, the University of Western Ontario, and Emmanuel College in Toronto. She was ordained by Bay of Quinte Conference in 1980.  Nancy's first three years of ministry were in southern Saskatchewan with the five congregations of the Grasslands Pastoral Charge.  Since then she has served three Pastoral Charges in southern Ontario; Mono Mills (near Orangeville), St. John's in Georgetown, and St. Paul's in Bowmanville.  From 2002 to 2007, Nancy served Bay of Quinte Conference as Conference Minister: Personnel and Rural Ministry.  On Sept 1st, 2007 Nancy moved to Bracebridge to join the team ministry here at Bracebridge United Church.  Living in Bracebridge allows her to pursue favourite activities like hiking, canoeing and watching movies.

Rev. Kevin Logie
Kevin was born and raised in Toronto (no aspirations to live in Toronto again!).  He spent his summers at the family cottage on Head Lake in the Kawarthas, where a love of the outdoors was developed.  Following graduation from high school he spent one year at Humber College taking Hotel and Restaurant Management before going to Trent University for Administrative and Policy Studies, graduating in 1983.  Kevin worked for a few years in the insurance business (both retail and general) before attending Emmanuel College.  He graduated with a M.Div and was ordained in 1989. He began his ministry on the Nanticoke Pastoral Charge (1989-1992), followed by Bond Head/Newton Robinson (1992-2003) which included a one year exchange to Christchurch, New Zealand at the Bishopdale Presbyterian Church.  Kevin began his ministry here at Bracebridge United Church in 2003, and feels priviledged to live and work in this beautiful part of God's creation.  His interests include golf, cross-country skiing, canoeing and kayaking, cycling, cooking (and eating), and reading (a bit of a newspaper junkie).  Little known fact - Kevin managed the Jolly Hangman Pub for a year while attending Trent University.

Barb Mason, Church Administrator
Barb was born and raised in Toronto where her family attended Thornhill United Church.  She spent summers at her family cottage in Jackson's Point and on lengthy camping trips criss-crossing Canada and the United States.  Much time was also spent canoe tripping in Algonquin Park and Temagami.  After graduating from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Journalism, Barb spent six months backpacking through Great Britain, Ireland, Scandinavia and Europe, which solidified her love of travel.  More recently, she has travelled to Romania, Hungary, Prague, Slovenia, Croatia, Argentina, Chile and Tanzania.  Next on the list is trekking in Peru!  Barb has worked in administration for many years, both in tourism and the financial services sector.  She has been a Director of The Counselling Foundation of Canada since 2003, and is also a Director of The Canadian Education and Research Institute for Counselling, based in Toronto.  Hiking, reading and yoga are some favourite past-times.

Jenny Dennis, Youth Worker
Jen is a Bracebridge native who grew up as part of the Bracebridge United Church family. She has followed many paths on life’s journey but has found that they have always come full circle back to working with children and youth.  After graduating from Bracebridge & Muskoka Lakes Secondary School she attended the Music Theatre Program at Sheridan College in Oakville, but found that the city was not for her and so returned to live in Bracebridge.  Since then she has explored her love of working with people, young and old, through The Kidney Foundation, Community Living South Muskoka, and local Homes for Special Care programs.  She was the Youth Worker at Bracebridge United from 2004 to 2006 and took a brief hiatus (or perhaps just a rest!) in 2006 to become a 911 Emergency Dispatcher for Ambulance and Fire in Muskoka.  She has also been a volunteer firefighter with the Bracebridge Fire Department since the spring of 2006.  Jen’s hobbies include camping, hiking, biking, snowshoeing and a new found love for dirt biking!  She is also kept busy performing as “Philly” in the children’s entertainment group “Jam Sandwich!”
