Sundays at 9:00 a.m. -  Informal Worship   (Location: Downstairs in the Auditorium)  

Pour yourself a cup of coffee and relax - chat with those around you!  The service is projected on a screen, so there are no hymn books to juggle with your coffee!  Various elements of this service are music, scripture, drama, interactive reflection, sharing of joys and concerns, and musical guests.  The Olde Tyme Gospel band joins us on the last Sunday of each month for this service.  Lots of music!  For the children we offer “B&B” – Blanket & Baskets… that is, a cozy blanket to lie on and baskets full of books and other activities for busy little ones.

This is traditional service of worship including all the elements of music, scripture readings, and a sermon.   The Senior Choir offers leadership in the ministry of music with an anthem each Sunday.  Often we have soloists or one of our three Handbell choirs, or our Joyful Noise choir.  
 

For the children...

For the children, we offer Faith Trek during the 10:30 a.m. service, from September through June.  Each Faith Trek unit is four weeks long, allowing the children to experience the unit's Bible story in four different ways - through games, cinema, cooking and crafts.  Each Sunday after "Children's Time" in the service, the children and their leaders go upstairs to the Sunday School hall where they first spend about ten minutes together putting on their name tags and gathering the offering.  If there is a birthday, we celebrate that, as well as doing some singing and listening to the Bible story.  The children then go to the Activity Centres.   They learn together in their grade groups: JK & SK; Grades 1 & 2; Grades 3,4 & 5; Grade 6,7 & 8.  High school age youth assist with the groups if needed or have their own discussion time together.  The Activity Centres are as follows:  Crafts in "Creations Corner" (Room 14), a movie in "CineTrek" (Room 12), activities & games in " Game Galaxy" (Room 11), and cooking in "Trekking for Treats" (kitchen). 

For the wee ones  we have a Nursery Caregiver on staff who welcomes all babies and toddlers (ages 0-3 years) in our bright & cheery nursery during the 10:30 service.  Lots of toys, books and music!  Check it out!
