Funerals and Memorial Services

When planning a funeral or memorial service, families often ask us what would be appropriate in the way of payment to the church. The following are offered as guidelines to help you at this time.

SERVICE 

(payable to Rev. Kathleen Taylor)    $300

ADMINISTRATIVE

(payable to Avery Pawelek )           $100

CUSTODIAN

(payable to Dixie Boutin)               $100

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

(Ushers, AV, Set Up and Take Down, Printing)   $150

MUSIC

(payable to Mary-Ruth Roadhouse)  $150

* Please note: it is preferred that the music director of Bracebridge United Church play for the memorial service. A fee of $100 is applicable if a guest musician is used to play the piano/organ, at the discretion of the music director.

BUILDING USE

(payable to Bracebridge United Church)

• Use of the Sanctuary,                                           $400
  

• Use of the Auditorium/Kitchen for a Reception        $200
  

• Catering for a Reception:  Includes sandwiches, cheese & crackers, fruit, sweet loaves, cookies & squares, tea & coffee, juice:  $10/person based on estimated attendance and menu preferences.

Please provide an estimated number of people you might expect to attend the reception so that we may adequately prepare.
